Meine Gurtband-Auswahl / Webbing Strap Selection:
Als Standard für mittlere bis große Hunde nähe ich mit einem 20 mm breitem Gurtband.
Für sehr kleine Hunde empfiehlt sich ein schmales Gurtband von 15 mm. Wenn der Hund besonders klein ist (Chihuahua) würde ich für das Halsband auch ein 10 mm breites Gurtband anbieten. Bei beiden sind auch der verwendeten Kunststoff- und Metall-Teile, wie D-Ring oder Karabiner (bei Leinen) kleiner und besonders leicht, um den kleinen Kameraden vom Gewicht her nicht zu sehr zu belasten.
Für große Hunde sollte ein breites Gurtband von 25 mm gewählt werden. Hier sind die Kunststoff- und Metall-Teile größer und halten auch entsprechend stärkeren Kräften stand.
Wenn es besonders breit sein soll, kann auch ein 30mm breites - auf Anfrage evtl. auch ein 40mm breites Gurtband gewählt werden.
For the webbing I'm using 20 mm / 0,79in as a standard for medium sized and big dogs.
The narrow strap in size 15 mm / 059in is for small dogs. If your dog is very small (e.g. Chihuahua) I would recommend a 10 mm / 0,39in strap for a collar. The used metal and plastic parts are smaler and of lesser wheigt as on the standard strap. As to not weight down your little friend. :-)
For very big dogs I would choose a webbing with 25 mm / 0,98in (or more for the collar - e.g. 30 mm / 1,18in). In this case the used parts are bigger and stronger in order to keep up with the strength of big dog.
